“Things are not always as they seem.”
This phrase is probably one of the top 10 things all people should remember, every day of their lives.
As a wedding photographer, I’m invited into one of the most joyful days of a couple’s time together. Thus, I strive to establish at least a familiar relationship with my couples before I’m tasked with entering their Big Day. With Amanda & Kevin, that just didn’t get to happen before their wedding day. And to be completely honest: it can worry you just a little to not know what to expect.
And this is where life surprises you: when I met Kevin & Amanda on the eve of their wedding day, I was immediately floored by their forthright nature. They spoke kindly and directly, and were very gracious throughout the entire weekend.
I won’t soon forget Kevin’s strong yet sensitive demeanor or the way Amanda’s utterly elegant poise pairs perfectly with simple kindness. Oh, and Kathleen: thanks maintaining your cool as the MoB when I called to say that we were moving to Nashville. As they say “a contract is a contract is a contract,” but even more important for me is that I always strive to keep my word. Thank you for your trust. It means more than I can say.
